Ron Paul/Talisker 18yr:

While Paul has made it big by taking full advantage of the web 2.0 capabilities of youtube, Talisker 18yr has accumulated its own fair share of praise on the net (see Onemalt.com's Knuckleheads of Scotch February '08 tasting).
Both well-aged entities are frustrated with the state of our union (overspending on Johnny Walker) and want to get back to what our founding fathers believed in, mainly the fundamentals of a proper dram of scotch (and that government thing).
Furthermore, Paul's unrelenting resolve in Congress to vote "No" on any issue involving an increase in government spending is almost as thick as Talisker's mouthfeel. It's uncomfortable for me to admit, but both also give off an aroma of prunes and leather and have damn fine legs for their age.
In short, they aren't for everybody but those of us who have had a taste of their brilliance feel sorry for the rest of you! Paul/Talisker18yr '08!
